The Neurology Depatement, together with the Neurophysiology division provides very specialized investigations and procedures includes:-
Electro Encephalo Graphy (EEG) - An EEG is a non-invasive test used to detect abnormalities in the electrical activity of the brain.
Electro Myo Gram (EMG) - The EMG is a test that evaluates the electrical activity in nerves and muscles. This test is helpful to determine if abnormalities exist in the way nerves transmit electrical impulses or abnormalities to the muscles themselves.
Nerve Conduction Study - NCS which evaluates the speed and amount of electrical activity along a nerve.
Visual Evoked Potential Test - VEP test evaluates the visual pathways in your brain.
Brain Stem Auditory Evoked Potential Test - BAEP is a recording of the electrical activity coming from the brain stem.
